Yesterday, while I was working
diligently at Subway, I decided to change and clean the shakers. After cleaning
the lids, I set them on the drying rack to dry. While those dried, I filled
clean containers with salt, pepper, and oregano. Once these were full I grabbed
the lids, brought them back to my work table, and checked to see if they were
dry enough to put on the containers. However instead of touching them or
looking to see if they were still wet, I held one lid up to my ear…Yes, I used my sense of hearing to determine whether
or not the lids were wet. I quickly realized my mistake but not before my
coworker, Aaron, noticed my blunder and laughed at my ridiculousness.
Just a normal
day working with Sarah.
